Facebook for Android 1.3 [update: Battery fix SOON]

Facebook for Android just got a major update yesterday. Sadly with all the new features on facebook 1.3, the app is getting slower and draining battery faster. Lucky for us, they are working on it – and promise us that an update is already in the making. Way to go Facebook! The photo streaming is pretty slick, the bottom notification is nicely addition. Now if you can give us more features e.g facebook chat, photo tagging, and notes.. I’m sure we’ll be happier than #teamiPhone =D

This improvement might also related to Eric Tseng joining facebook. Before joining this social media giant, Eric Tseng used to be a project manager at Google Android team. Somehow, knowing that – and the fact that he’s asking for feedback on Facebook Android assures me that the app quality will keep getting better.
